Amanda and Steven Ivil knew they’d come across a golden renovation opportunity when they were shown a 1960s bungalow on an acre plot.

With the help of their architect, Ryan Bond from Snug Architects, they transformed the dated dwelling into an open-plan contemporary home filled with wow factor design features.

A slate feature wall in the hallway adds visual interest to the double height space and large windows and glazed doors ensure that they’re plenty of natural illumination throughout the property.
