Welcome to the NEW self-build diary

Terry Cobbin believes building a home is easier than you think and he's prepared to put this theory to the test. His regular updates will chart the progress of the build through the various stages, decisions and problems along the way.

Terry's original aim was to complete the project by the end of February 2010. The diary is now into its eighth chapter and March represents an over-running project. However, Terry is very much in the final stage of the project and has heroically persevered through one of most challenges winters.
