Graven Hill Launches Pocket Plots

The term Pocket Plot may conjure up an image of a tiny property but the latest option released by Graven Hill can accommodate a two or three bedroomed detached house with space for gardens and parking. These plots should appeal to those who really want to go down the self-build route but have a limited budget.

Plots start from just £90,000, meaning purchasers should be able to complete their new home via the turnkey route from just £230,000 (or as low as £200,000 if you complete the internal fit out yourself).

“Pocket Plots are versatile, affordable, and offer a solution for those looking to self-build with a modest budget. Similar to Golden Brick plots, they come with all the below ground work taken care of so that purchasers can concentrate on the design and build of their new home,” says Karen Curtin, Managing Director at Graven Hill.

“We received a tremendous amount of interest in them at this year’s Build It Live on 10th and 11th June and hope that buyers will take advantage of this rare opportunity to build a bespoke yet affordable home in Oxfordshire”.

For those looking for a different route to a new home at Graven Hill, previously announced options include Golden Brick plots with room for up to six bedroom houses, tailored finish terrace and mews dwellings and coach houses.

By offering a range of products, there’s scope to be as involved as you like in shaping your project. However, regardless of the path you take, Graven Hill will provide the groundworks and foundations to your new home. As well as removing the financial risk that can accompany this stage of a self-build scheme, this means that VAT is not applied to the purchase price of the plot – saving you money.
