The self build and renovation community is thriving, with support networks available up and down the country to help you complete a successful project. Here are some of the ways you can get the information and inspiration you need:

Build It magazine

You’ll find plenty of inspiration and advice among the pages of Build It magazine, from real-life readers’ homes to expert articles on everything from securing a building plot to choosing the right staircase. The magazine is available in most supermarkets, WH Smith and good newsagents - or you can subscribe today

Build It Live

If you want face-to-face advice from the Build It experts, then head to Build It Live. It’s the UK’s newest exhibition designed for self-builders, renovators, and anyone wanting to create a bespoke home. There are two fantastic events to explore: the South East show takes place in Bluewater, Kent; and the North West show at EventCity in Manchester. Find out more about Build It Live here.
