This traditional farmhouse is located in rural Gloucestershire, on the edge of the Cotswolds. The owners wanted it designed and built in a traditional way, using local limestone. They chose our Cotswold Buff sawn on bed building stone with ashlar stone dressings. The front elevation was hand-dressed with a chiselled finish.
The front and side entrances have ashlar stone surrounds, with scrolled corbels and a stone canopy.
Glazed French doors at the back of the house open onto a Duna sandstone paved terrace, with views over the river to the countryside.
