The Hemsworths chose to use timber frame over other methods of construction because of the speed of build. They wanted to use a local supplier and found Kingspan Timber Solutions while searching the internet.

After initial discussions, they decided to use the Kingspan Ultima 15 system because of the thermal performance and slimness of the system.  They also found that Kingspan ULTIMA 15 was, for them, the perfect balance between thermal performance and cost. They were also swayed by the footprint savings that the ULTIMA system provides.

Being an electrician, Mark Hemsworth was very interested in the factory-fitted service batten, because this helps with the speed of fitting the wiring and sockets, and this was another reason the couple opted for Kingspan Timber Solutions.

As Mark was used to working on building sites, he was impressed by the timeliness and efficiency of our delivery team. The structure was erected to the given program and as soon as the roof finish was complete, the follow-on trades could start work, including Mark with the electrics. The build was finished to schedule and the Hemsworths were able to move into their new home in April as planned.
