Extension and Refurbishment with Rooflights

Mailen Design were tasked with the extension and refurbishment of this family home in Surrey.

Having previously worked with the Rooflight Company, Mailen Design felt confident the Rooflight Company could provide a solution for this scheme.

The design put forward by architect Ben Mailen included a new extension on the back of the property which would make the new kitchen the heart of the remodelled home.

The Rooflight Company were specified to provide three Conservation Plateau Rooflights for the new roof as they can be installed into roof pitches up to 20 degrees. The roof was designed to incorporate varying slopes, so the Conservation Plateau Rooflight range was the optimum solution for this kind of application.

The white internal linings of the Conservation Plateau Rooflights meant the rooflights would unobtrusively blend with the white decor of the kitchen.
