My extension planning has been refused , stating "no positive feeling". Can someone advice me how new design should be to replace old design so as to overcome planning dept objection. I have semidetached house built since 1937 with rear of house having flat kitchen extension done from 1985 .My intention is to add 2 more bedrooms . I have space on rear and side of house, but dont want side extension to include till front of house due to cost factors.
There are ways around planning disputes and refusals, whether the problem is the design of the proposed project or the impact on neighbour’s privacy.

Hope this is of help.
