Filling the gap
Cold and draughts are entering our cavity wall via shrinking mastic around the PVC-U windows – do you have any suggestions how to cure this?
Answers
Try one of the various makes of expanding filler, such as Unibond No More Big Gaps. This is applied with a glue gun, and the foam insulates by expanding to cover any gaps. Once dry the foam can be trimmed away to look neater.
