Hi, I'm in the process of pricing up a new build project of two blocks of seven flats on the same bit of land.
Unfortunately I've been giving a unrealistic deadline for the price to be in and was wondering what sort of worst case scenario price would it be for new services & utilities for a project like this and temp supply during build.
Also what tests would have to carried out in regards to airpressure, sound, energy certification, etc.
Many thanks
Hi Daniel,
The price of services depends on a variety of factors, for example, how far away your nearest supply is, whether there is an existing connection etc. To find out the cost of this you will have to contact your local service provider. If you have any further questions about connecting to services you may find our guide helpful.
Build It specialises in providing practical guidance for self-builders rather than developers, so we can’t offer much advice in this area I’m afraid. The Build It Estimating Service can provide a full costing report for self-build projects, so perhaps this could be of help.
Good luck with your build,
