Our multi-award-winning gravity fed rainwater harvesting system is our most innovative system yet. It works by using a small Smart Header Tank which is installed in the home usually in the loft or high up space. The pump fills the tank and then doesn’t kick in again until it is almost empty. This means that the pump operates approx. once per day compared to traditional rainwater harvesting systems where the pump cycles whenever a toilet is flushed.

Our gravity feed system uses 6-8 times less energy than traditional systems.

Should rainwater ever run low in the underground tank, the system automatically registers and delivers mains water directly to the Smart Header Tank. This means you’ll never be without supply in the event of exceptional circumstances such as a power cut or droughts.
Our clever control unit has intelligent features such as:

“Mains Water Mode” to divert the home onto mains water, so rainwater can be conserved for the garden if hosepipe bans are being introduced.

“Holiday Mode” recycling the water in the loft space every 3 days if it has not been used to prevent stagnation.

Our rain director gravity fed system is also WRAS approved (this is a certification mark that demonstrates our systems comply with the high standards set out by the water regulations).
