A multi-purpose garden room with separate storage area replacing an old badly positioned summerhouse that had fallen into disrepair.

This 6m x 3m (18m²) garden room is built on a concrete base. An internal partition wall creates a 1.2m storage area, equipped with its own external UPVC solid panel door for easy access.

The front and right sides of the structure are clad in composite cedar slats, providing a natural yet maintenance-free aesthetic. To reduce costs, the rear and left sides are clad in durable grey Hardie board composite, a practical choice for areas not visible from the main view.

Anthracite UPVC doors and windows enhance the design, including 3m-wide double sliding patio doors and a full-height corner window (0.5m front, 1m side), allowing ample natural light to flood the interior. A 300mm overhang extends along the front and right-hand sides, adding a sleek architectural touch.

Inside, the garden room features a seamless plain ceiling with no joining strips, eight dimmable spotlights, five standard white power sockets, grey flooring, and an infrared heater.

There is space for a sofa, a workstation and for the children to play.
