The UK’s best self build and renovation magazines are merging from the February 2023 issues to form Build It incorporating SelfBuild & Design. All subscribers will receive their first copy of the combined magazine in late December, subject to delays caused by the postal strikes.
Our subscribers might be wondering what the merger means for them, so we’ve compiled some FAQs to help you gain a better understanding of what will happen next.
As a subscriber do I need to do anything to receive the new Build It incorporating SelfBuild & Design?
There is no need for you to take any action, your copy will arrive in the post as normal.
Will the new combined magazine include content from both titles?
Yes, we are working hard to deliver all the usual great Build It content with the addition of articles which were previously exclusive to SelfBuild & Design. This means, for example, that you will see trusted SelfBuild & Design journalists writing for the new combined title plus lots of inspirational plots from PlotBrowser, the UK’s most focused self-build plot database.
Who should I contact if my copy doesn’t arrive?
The easiest way to track a lost issue is to email [email protected] with your full name and address and which copy has not arrived. Our team will look into it and post you a new copy if necessary.
What happens if I have paid to receive both magazines separately?
If you have paid to receive both magazines then we will simply extend your subscription so that you receive the total number of issues that you have paid for. So, for example, if you have 6 issues of Build It and 7 issues of SelfBuild & Design to run then you will receive a combined issue for 13 months, before your subscription is due for renewal. If there are 2 Direct Debits in place, then the second one will be automatically cancelled. You do not need to do anything.
How do I make suggestions for new articles and improvements?
