Featuring minimalist geometry to achieve that sculptural feel, this door’s custom bronze cladding has a hand-applied patina for depth, weathered elegance and warmth. The pivot hinge system is concealed for seamless movement. Tight tolerances, detailing and precision alignment maintain the aesthetic.
Installation The complex geometry and flush integration required careful pivot calibration and close collaboration with the architect and site team to ensure the door fitted correctly into the steel subframe.

Brief As part of a four-house development in Truro, the client wanted a bespoke entrance that introduces rustic character to the contemporary architecture – something bold yet harmoniously warn, using durable materials suitable for conditions on the South West coast.
Solution This full-height entry door is strong in presence yet minimal in design, using natural, elemental textures to softly counter modern lines. Its oxidised iron finish offers low maintenance and resilience for the exposed location, while its warm rust tones deliver a tactile surface. The bespoke joinery was completed in Inspiration Doors’ workshop to ensure precise fit and function.
Installation This door was assembled and finished in-house, before being carefully protected in delivery. On-site inspection of the finish was undertaken post-installation, to ensure surface integrity.
