Delivering Efficient and Reliable Underfloor Heating

At UFH1 Underfloor Heating, we specialise in delivering efficient, modern heating solutions, and this particular farmhouse refurbishment presented a unique challenge. The client wanted to upgrade their heating system to improve comfort and energy efficiency, while working within strict budget and structural constraints. Floor heights could not be raised, and installing underfloor heating from below was not a viable option due to the existing joists and traditional stone walls.

We worked closely with the client to develop a tailored underfloor heating solution that respected these limitations. A screed-based underfloor heating system was specified for the ground floor, allowing efficient heat distribution without compromising finished floor levels. For the first floor, we introduced wall heating as a practical alternative, ensuring consistent warmth where underfloor heating could not be installed.

Our involvement included detailed product consultation, careful coordination of supply and delivery, and full commissioning support to ensure everything operated as intended. By selecting reliable, high-performance underfloor heating components, we were able to meet the project requirements without exceeding budget or programme expectations.
