The R-Wall Under Slab System is engineered to eliminate the thermal inefficiencies caused by cold bridging, commonly found in traditional ground-bearing slabs. Suitable for all construction types, but primarily created to integrate seamlessly with the R-Wall ICF formwork, creating a continuous insulation envelope around the entire structure. This results in zero cold bridging and significantly enhances the building’s energy efficiency.
Installation & Structural Benefits
- No footings required: Insulation is cross-laminated over a sand-blinded substrate.
- Concrete poured to upstand: This forms the finished floor surface or slab.
