Timber Innovations is a pioneering provider of low energy and passive-house performance structural systems for newbuild projects across the UK.

The product range for our thermal envelope structures includes external wall panels from 200mm to 450mm thickness – to deliver U-values between 0.15 and 0.09W/m2K with “breathable” walls insulated with natural and eco-sustainable materials such as blown cellulose fibres factory-injected between specialist Larsen studs. In most cases these low-energy buildings also have a highly insulated vaulted roof solution – a variant of the wall make-up using I-joist cassettes also with factory-injected insulation.

Our experience with these systems includes an understanding of the need to avoid cold-bridging through the external envelope as well as focusing on air-tightness.

For the optimum offsite manufacture we provide full Passivhouse structures which include prefabricated timber-based wall panels for partywalls and internal walls or partitions, plus joists and boarding for intermediate floors and a variety of roof solutions usually formed as factory-insulated roof cassettes.

Our in-house engineer and design teams specialise in complex and challenging structures, and wherever possible will incorporate all necessary glulams/steels to make efficient hybrid structures in one package.

This is a design supply and install offer from our Midlands production facility and we operate Nationwide. We are STA Gold Assure members with the capability to service projects from single houses at 100m2+ floor area right up to multi-plot sites split into build-phases.
