I understand that any damage that is due to the contractor's negligent work will be covered under All Risks insurance and any defective design by the Architect will be covered under PII. There is additional cover available for the Employer called Non-Negligent Damage insurance where damage has occurred that is not due to negligence.

I’ve not been asked this before. However, for any self-build site insurance issues I would usually go to Self-Build Zone as my starting point. I’d suggest you get in touch and have a chat about your requirements. If Self-Build Zone can’t help, they’ll probably be able to point you in the right direction!
