Roof conversion planning permission
Hi
I have planning permission to convert our roof to a living space with a Dormer to the rear of the property and a Velux window at the front.
Would it be enough to fit the Velux window at the front to prevent the planning expiring after 3 years? There is only one other condition on the planning approval, which is that the conversion must comply with the approved drawings.

Putting in the velux would represent a start to the works, or implementation, as it is known, and this would keep the permission alive beyond the three year time limit.
