The Sterrys employed the architectural services of their son Robert, to design their unique oak frame home.

The modern brick-clad SIPs wraparound hides the supporting oak frame, which was provided by Carpenter Oak.

Once inside, the open vaulted living space reveals the contemporary use of this timeless building material.

A glazed gable floods the dwelling with light. The couple opted for triple panes which, together with the use of SIPs, ensures excellent levels of insulation and airtightness.
