Price of partition
We have bought an old property and the internal non-load bearing partitions are in a very poor condition and need replacing. Could you advise us of the likely costs involved?
Answers
Costs will always be hugely variable, so take these as ball park estimates:
● Softwood stud partition covered with plasterboard and skimmed both sides £50 per m²
● Brick walling covered with plaster both sides £50 per m²
● Block walling covered with plaster both sides £40 per m²
On top of these figures, allow £10 per m² for demolishing and disposing of the existing partitions.
