I am just reading the proposed amendments to the Self-build and Custom Housebuilding Act 2015. This is potentially great news for people who need the council to identify a plot for them but it lacks clarity on the council’s role in supporting planning applications where individuals identify a plot for themselves. Do you have any information on the council’s obligations in relation to this latter group of self builders?
