Bungalow Renovation with a Swimming Pool

When Sarah and Adrian Youseman inherited a mid-century bungalow in need of major renovation, they wanted the opportunity to do a complete transformation as seen on the television but without the stress of managing it themselves. They then met Design4U at a self build show and were taken with the project management route. Sarah’s background as an artist and designer really lent itself to the model outlined. This allowed Sarah and Adrian to have the control they wanted but with a team to handle the technical delivery and solve the problems.

Design4U liaised with the design team to get all the planning and building regulation drawing phases complete. Sarah and Adrian knew what they wanted and working with the design team that suggested variations of what they wanted meant the reality could really focus on the best use of the views and the light available.

Design4U also made cost saving suggestion, to help them build their dream home on budget. The advice given was invaluable and meant the couple could install appliances such as mechanical heat ventilation, air source heat pumps and under floor heating.

A masonry brick and block approach was then adapted. Taking time to get the design right was key to creating the home they wanted. Design4U was on hand to oversee all stages and maintain the budget and timetable ahead

The completed home comes with a full landscaped garden as part of the package. Sarah and Adrian were so happy with the finished home, which was achieved thanks to the team approach taken by both client and project manager.
