This flat door kitchen is a beautiful example of using two-tone colours to create an elegant and modern space. Designed with a simplistic, clean flat door style with sleek minimalist handles, the space feels bright and luxurious. The quartz worktops contrast with the dark grey cabinetry, adding an elegant sheen to the room. Hints of oak throughout the design and the L-shaped wood breakfast bar complement the cool colour palette, adding warmth to the space.
Antique Mirror has been used as a splashback to create a greater sense of space, providing depth and reflecting both natural light and recessed lighting from the wall cabinet. The mottled mirror detailing also has the hidden benefit of hiding subtle marks and therefore alleviating the need for constant cleaning throughout the day.
We added plinth lighting to the central island to make it the focal point of the room. The Island has been designed with plenty of practical storage including deep pan drawers that ensure nothing gets lost in the back, and slimmer drawers on the hob side for cutlery and utensils. The hob is situated on the centre of the island with a pop-up extractor, allowing the kitchen to be a completely social hub even whilst cooking.
To complete this space, we included a sliding door bar larder with matching antique mirror splashback, fully equipped with a wine cooler, wine racks, and more, making it the perfect entertaining space for guests.
