Full Turnkey Self Build is Baufritz’s fully managed, single-source house-building service, built for clients who want the outcome of a self-build project, a bespoke, healthy timber home without carrying the coordination, risk, or time burden themselves. A dedicated UK-based project manager and personal consultant run the entire journey end to end: concept, design, planning permission, engineering, manufacture, and on-site assembly, all under one fixed-price contract agreed before construction begins. Clients still make every meaningful decision, layout, materials, fixtures, and finishes, but are never left to coordinate architects, tradespeople, or suppliers themselves. The promise is a home completed on time and on budget, with full transparency throughout and “partners for life” aftercare once the family has moved in. Over two decades of UK experience underpin the offer, positioning it as the lowest-risk route into a genuinely custom-built home.
The Six Steps
The journey runs through six defined steps. First, an individual consultation, where a personal consultant discusses ideas, site constraints, and budget in person or online. Second, design, translating that brief into architectural plans and submitting planning applications on the client’s behalf. Third, signing the contract, fixing price and timeline against the finished design. Fourth, planning the details, as architects and engineers complete structural calculations, groundwork, and building-services specifications. Fifth, sampling, an invited visit to the design centre to choose flooring, windows, cladding, and roofing finishes with expert guidance. Sixth, manufacturing, assembling and fitting: prefabricated elements are built off-site, delivered, assembled by specialists, and fitted out ready to move in.
