Is It Possible to Claim Back Vat on Vulux Blinds for a Conversion?
Hello,
I Realise that you can not claim back Vat for blinds and curtains, but was wondering if Its possible to claim back Vat on Velux Blinds as they are, in a sense, integral to the property?

Hi James,
It wouldn’t be possible to claim VAT on the blinds. You should be able to claim it for the roof lights, but blinds are not integral to the property – which is a requirement for making VAT reclaims.
However, if the blinds were integrated into the unit and therefore included in the price as one product, you may be able to claim back the VAT.
