Passive Timber Frame and Foundation System

The MBC Passive timber frame and foundation system is a consistent, super insulated shell.

Our twin wall timber frame system is manufactured off-site at our modern factory and delivered to site in panels, enabling a very quick erection process.

Once erected, the cellulose insulation is injected around the entire wall and roof of the frame. This insulation then sits on the insulation within the raft foundation, completing the continuously insulated shell.

Following this process, windows are installed either by MBC or your preferred supplier. MBC then complete all airtightness detailing in preparation for the air test. The required 0.6 air changes per hour air test is guaranteed by MBC.

The MBC system is very flexible and has been designed to work with any project, including virtually all ground conditions and any external finishes.
