Can I claim back VAT on site insurance?

   Hi Joanna,

   Unfortunately VAT on services, such as site insurance, is not reclaimable through HMRC VAT 431C scheme. So you cannot claim back the VAT charged by your solicitor, architect or the quantity surveyor and can only reclaim the VAT charged on materials and labour.
