Do you need to input the combined area of both the first and second floor of your project in the self build cost calculator?
When using the free build calculator do you put in the ground floor area only, or do you put in the ground floor and the first floor area combined total area of both floors

Hi Lyndonwd,
In terms of costs per m2 for your project, you have to work out the total area of accommodation you’re converting.
That means adding both floors together, eg ground floor area plus first floor area, which will give you the total m2 of the project.
