What would Piled Foundations Cost for a Basement?
Morning ,
I am considering incorporating a basement on my new self build project.
I have been advised that I will need to use a piled foundation system.
What are approximate costs for piled foundations? The total area of basement to be excavated is 200m2.

Hi Jerry,
You’ll need a structural engineer to tell you what work is needed for the piled foundations. From their advice, then you’ll be able to call contractors to ask for quotes.
I’m afraid there are no estimates for this type of work, as they vary greatly from project to project.

Depends on the following;
Depth and diameter, number and centring of piles. An engineer will draw up a design for piles and these parameters for quotation but in general terms this will add quite a percentage to your foundation costs depending on the soil conditions.
