We have lovely Nordan windows and doors in our self build. Unfortunately I smashed half of the sliding doors (accidentally reversed into it but still not broken through-they are so tough!) My question is does anyone know what home insurer will cover the cost fully?

My current insurer is Royal Sun Alliance and they say they can do like for like for half the quote from a Nordan approved repairer (his quote was £600 less than Nordan). Problem is if we use RSA's repairer we lose our Nordan Warranty (8 years left). Go with Nordan approved and we have to fork out over £1000 plus our excess. Have taken this to the ombudsman and am awaiting reply. Need to change Home Insurance Company but don't know who to change to now!
