GET TWO FREE TICKETS HERENestled in the serene countryside of Worcestershire sits two attached cottages on Berry Lane, one of which has just been renovated with reclaimed bricks and reclaimed roof tiles, ready to be sold onto its new owner. This cottage has been significantly developed with an extension to the lounge and dining area at the back, along with a porch addition to the front
The brickmatching process for this property had to be accurate, as the match, which you can gradually see from left to right, would be facing out onto the lane. If the bricks differed too much from property to property, it wouldn’t sell the illusion that the two properties were built at the same time. A batch of reclaimed handmade bricks originating from Worcester was chosen, as they would have been made within a 5 mile radius of where this property is situated. This means the colour and texture of the clay will match perfectly to the original properties.
Early Machine Made Staffordshire Blue Roof tiles were selected that matched the adjoining property perfectly, with attention being paid to match not only the tile, but also the weathering of the originals to ensure that the transition from old to new was seamless.
At Cawarden, we pride ourselves on our ability to match building materials from every corner of the UK. Working with industry professionals and customers alike, and keeping Planning & Conservation happy along the way. Ensuring projects run smoothly and on schedule.
