Contemporary Extension Featuring UberSlide

The owners of this five bedroom house wanted to create a multi-purpose, open-plan kitchen and living space for their growing family, an area where they would spend most of their time.

The homeowners visited Kloeber’s Huntingdon showroom and they were impressed with the UberSlide sliding doors and their 20mm sightlines. Although they had seen several companies, the competitive pricing and great customer service stood out from the rest.

The owners also chose rooflights for the sloping and flat areas of the roof, to allow light to flood into the spectacular family space. Two UberSlide sliding doors with their minimal sightlines were installed to maximise the family’s connection with their south facing garden.

This amazing double-height extension was a stuctural challenge and a steel frame was used as well as a timber-based warm deck roof, providing great all year round insulation.
