Pankhurst Wood

Location Wateringbury, Kent

If you’d love to live in a village setting surrounded by local amenities and countryside walks, while also being nestled within a prime, commutable location, we welcome you to Pankhurst Wood.

Our vision for the site is to provide you with a unique oak frame home building experience on a beautiful, rural site in the idyllic Kent countryside, a few miles west of Maidstone, in the parish of Wateringbury. Pankhurst Wood was, until recently, a garden nursery and hence is bordered by beautiful deciduous trees.

Plot 4: 249m2 three-bedroom home with an oak frame garage

Wateringbury is located on the historic River Medway. The village itself comprises an array of handy, close-by amenities, such as a Post Office and store, petrol station, primary school, village hall and a doctor’s surgery. There is also a cafe, farm shop, community market day selling local produce and friendly local pubs.

What’s more, if you need to travel further afield, this location in the South East has fantastic access links to the motorway network, positioned just 10 minutes from the M20 leading closely up to the M25. It’s also just a 40 minute drive from Gatwick airport.

Plot 3: 308m2 three-bedroom home with an oak frame garage

The Pankhurst Wood site occupies just under an acre and each of the four plots available vary in size, from 668m² to 921m². Careful consideration has been given to each plot’s layout, so that each of the homes residing here will benefit from a comfortable, private garden that takes full advantage of the site’s orientations and beautiful countryside location.

Bringing together the team that developed the award winning Webb’s Meadow custom build site, Spring Grove West is located in the desirable rural village of Almeley, Herefordshire.

The scheme offers three spacious plots of 1,183m2 to 2,586m2. Current approved plans include a three-bedroom farmhouse-style home and a four-bedroom Dinedor house design from Oakwrights’ Woodhouse range. The designs for all the plots can be tailored to your specific lifestyle and with as much or as little oak as you desire.

Plot 1: 217m2 three-bedroom home with room-above garage

All three plots are complemented by plenty of garden amenity and planning for a two-bay oak frame room-above garage, which is based on our Little Gloucester design. This provides flexible additional space that could be used as a home office or extra accommodation, as well as housing your cars.

In terms of delivering your new home, you can either select the Oakwrights’ Turnkey service to have your house built for you, or choose to self-manage your own project.

Plot 3: 148m2 three-bedroom home with room-above garage

Almeley benefits from an award-winning pub, which also runs as the local shop and deli. It has its own primary school and cricket club, too, and is just 16 miles from the cathedral city of Hereford. The nearby village of Weobly is well-known for its restaurants and pubs.
