The owners of this oak frame home in Scotland are welcoming visitors wishing to learn about this trusted structural choice.

Visitors will have the chance to ask Carpenter Oak specialists about the modern possibilities offered by this traditional material. The private house, Arden, has guest accommodation and sits on the banks of Lock Lomond, featuring stunning panoramic views of the fells.

The oak structure of this home was encapsulated by Fleming Homes, making the building wind and weather tight within three weeks. Set within the National Park, the tight restrictions didn’t affect this luxurious project and its glorious outcome.

Take a sneak peek inside:

Featuring large expanses of glass – the three largest measuring 8m2 – this home showcases the perfect balance between traditional and modern.

The open house will take place on Friday 16th November, from 11am to 4pm.
