As Kitty and Tim Nosworthy’s family grew, they realised their tired old single-storey extension wasn’t meeting their needs.
The couple chose Sue Sutton from 3s Design to help them devise a way to get the most out of their property. The result is a stunning new double-storey extension that counterpoints clean modern design against the original Edwardian brick house.
The new space includes a vast open-plan kitchen diner, WC and utility on the ground floor. Above is a new master suite overlooking the garden, plus a family bathroom and separate shower room. Overall, the house now offers three well-proportioned bedrooms.
